HP 3500 Smartchip (Incorrect chips?)

We purchased several smartchips for the HP 3500 series printer. After recieving the chips, I am unable to locate where to put these in the OEM cartriage. The part #'s were:
LOCK CHIPS:
CLP-510 (Y)
CLP-510 (BK) * 2
CLP-510 (M)
CLP-510 (C)
Are these the wrong chips for our cartriages.
